Minneapolis-based Uff-Da brings a raw, high-energy blend of blues-rock, fuzz-drenched guitar, soulful vocals, and infectious jams. With Sam McKinney on drums and vocals, Chris Marti on guitar and vocals, Cody Bruggman on bass, and Tim Booth on keys, the four-piece delivers a sweaty, electric live show built for dancing, shouting along, and losing yourself in the music. Their debut self-titled album, a two-year labor of love, was self-produced in a DIY home studio built by the band. Opening the night, Sam Licari & The Sweet Tease bring a groove-heavy mix of funk, reggae, blues, and rock. Minnesota-born and bred, Licari is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter who has performed with many acts around the Midwest. The Tap Room at Day Block Brewing sets the backdrop with cold craft beer on tap, great food, and a laid-back Minneapolis atmosphere. Uff-Da and Sam Licari & The Sweet Tease perform Thursday, October 1st, from 7–10 PM.
